What I learned within those classes has and will help me both professionally and personally. The people that lead the training at the WRC are some of the brightest I have ever meet. I was invited to interview for a couple different positions within the corporation and by a franchisee but continued at the store level with aspirations of being an area leader. I was able to grow that store while racking up service and operation awards. Quickly we were able to get people trained properly and we became one of the best stores in the area. The people and the store were good, but operations were in dire straights and had been for a good amount of time. The first store I was asked to take over when I was promoted needed help. Manager bonus is based solely on customer reviews and customers typically don't review unless they had a bad experience or an amazing experience, nothing in between.ĭriver's are FORBIDDEN to receive 40 hours or more because the company flexes a legal loophole allowing them to not provide benefits to part-time employees as long as they stay at 39.9 hours a week or less. ![]() Punishing employees for making a mistake when they were never taught correctly in the first place is bad leadership.Ī manager can be fired for delegating work in front of customers, but a driver can harass other employees based on religion and sexual preference and only receive a warning. ![]() To be more specific: Assistant Managers are trained well usually, but Customer Service Representatives and Delivery Drivers are essentially thrown to the wolves and are only taught how to do something after they've messed it up. Domino's is RELIGIOUS about customer service and their high standards, and yet they lack the follow-up of training their employees properly.
